Currently on the ferry from Stornaway to Ullapool with very slow wifi as I upload and share this little EP with you. Recorded live at the bimhuis in Amsterdam as part of a tour of the Netherlands in February 2023 after we released 'Marram.' On live gigs we don't tend to make set lists so the music always feels much more free and improvised than the studio recordings. A lot of the tunes on this gig segued into each other into an almost continuous set hence the cuts/fade outs on the tracks! I love the rawness and risk taking you can hear in these recordings and the new directions the music is taken. It was a privilege to share our music at the amazing Bimhuis and this is a nice memory of that gig.
